The outback is a fresh family oriented play area for everyone! You don’t have a firepit in your backyard? No worries we have one for you! The wood-burning firepit with some supplied firewood (first come, first serve)! We have park benches and Adirondack chairs for you and your friend to enjoy the area as you watch others have fun playing Bocce ball, cornhole, horseshoes, and/or shuffleboard! This is a great area to relax or just have fun in the great outdoors, just steps from the nature reserve wooded area!
The Center Isle is the grassy area between our upper and lower parking lots! This area has a stone walkway and a few 3-ton boulders perfect for sitting on and reading or just enjoying the scenery under the trees!
Also, the Little Library is located right there! Its a great place to read and sit on a boulder!
The Little Library
The little red library is Edgewater’s way of giving something to the little ones that are just starting to read! This is a wonderful way to share books with our neighbors.
A unique blue top roof sits just feet from overlooking the lake. We are adding the outdoor sitting area to take in the view of the lake. This is a versatile room that can be used for meetings, baby showers, kids parties, book club and other smaller social events. It’s great place to host your dinner party, game night, TV series end watch party, or breakfast social!
The upper clubhouse has three times the space as any of our other rental spaces. Great for hosting larger groups like weddings, company meetings, banquets, Sweet 16 birthday parties, graduation parties, Corporate parties, Church events a practice area for dance, Scouts, School events, etc. It has a Fireplace, kitchen with two ovens, fridge, Microwave, bathrooms, 12 round tables, four 6-foot tables, and 80 chairs, everything you need to get started. There are also 2 large balconies overlooking the pool or the court areas.

This is the smallest and least expensive rental space we have of the three. Normally hosting the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, it has also been host to study sessions, chorus/choir rehearsals, yoga, baby showers, and birthday parties. It is very convenient to the pool and the kids playground, making it the perfect place for kids’ parties.
Edgewater has one of the largest pools in the county. This 8-lane Olympic size pool is used for lifeguard training, swim team competitions, and of course, just great summer fun by kids and adults! The pool deck has 80 resort-styled lounge chairs, tables and chairs with umbrellas to help you beat the heat. Want to cool off in the deep end? This pool goes from 3 feet to 10 feet deep. We also have a 2nd little tot pool just next to the big pool, with a fun water mushroom for the tiniest kids to splash around.
The lake is a 30-acre lake with a private boat ramp and dock that allow Edgewater residents to launch their water non-motorized watercraft onto the lake for fishing or just recreation The most popular species caught here are Largemouth bass, Bluegill, and Black crappie. This is a great place to watch the sunrise or sunset over the Lakeside terrace that sits just 200 feet away. There are lots of ducks and other incredible birds that find their way to our banks and wetland we have spotted. Since the lake is shared with the Gwinnett County park, the lake is a place for the deer and other animals from the nature preserve to come down.
This area has been recently refreshed with all new playground furniture. The playground is also just steps from the pool, clubhouses, the outback tennis and volleyball courts making this a very fun area for the entire family. What is even more exciting is that playground equipment has helped in removing 30,000 reclaimed/recycled plastic bottles from landfills! Edgewater HOA tries to do its part in saving the earth! We have a slide some tot swings and regular swings along with a hut, monkey bars and a bridge! Great safe place for parents to host a playdate that you can walk to!
Our 2 story Gazebo is nestled in between the UCH and the tennis courts is a great place after work to sip on some of your favorite wine while watching a tennis match with friends. You can just sit back and read a book in the great outdoors just under the magnificent pines. It’s a wonderful place to take pictures!
We have 6 lighted tennis courts for all to enjoy! These tennis courts have been recently been completely rebuilt and have top-notch surfaces! Just in between the two sets of courts t, the bench are covered with these wonderful sun shade sail canopy for those waiting for courts or just watching the games! There is also grassy stadium seating for you to set up your. We have 10 men’s and women’s ALTA tennis leagues, teams that compete during two season per year! Come join a team!
Pickleball is one of America fastest growing sports! Edgewater introduced the sport to our residents just before the pandemic and this gave an additional opportunity for some families to get outside during COVID. We converted 2 tennis courts to accommodate both tennis and Pickleball to be played by just removing the Pickleball nets. We have equipment for those that want to try this sport or you can purchase some pro-level equipment for those wanting to join our pickleball league. Some research suggests that it may be safer than tennis for people with heart issues, too!
We have a beach volleyball sand pit literally in our own backyard! Come down and play with your friends in a fast-paced game of volleyball!
